Is the Lion in YOU at Home?
This Lion drives your business and your life. It is the inner voice that motivates you to do what you have to do, to get where you want to be. Are you there yet?
Consider what you are doing now to promote yourself. Is it enough? Are you just getting by? If your lion is dozing in the sun, then it's comfortable, but not much is happening. Unless something changes there will be no dinner. Is this how it is with your business and your life? You need to know what you have to do, stretch, roar and do it. Know where the big game is. Find out what successful people are doing. Do the same thing. Know what you need to rise to the top. Find out how to take this to the next step. Knowing is not doing. Every action starts with a thought. Feed the lion with success, it will grow stronger and louder. The roar will be heard across the land . People will be drawn to you. They will seek you out. They will want what you have. Your success will be contagious. Listen to that inner roar, when it is just a purr, make some changes. Go to where the action is, read an inspiring book or article. Phone your up line, or a happy customer or a friend. Celebrate what you have achieved so far. Do not give up.
Try something that you know has worked for other people. Every lion starts as a small helpless cub. Every day brings new experiences that serve it well for the future. Your business, your life is the same. It grows daily. If something did not bring the required results, do not consider it a failure, but rather as learning what not to do again.
Remember that the people at the top did not get there over night. Like the cub they had to grow a little each day. They learned from their mistakes. When they found a winning formula they put it to work. They invested in themselves and in their business. They fed the Lion. So must you. Success is not all hard work. It includes time to stop and enjoy the view, to enjoy the friends that were once strangers, to help others at a business or personal level. Time with your family to create memories for the next generation. Inside you there is a lion, there is also a kitten that is the child in you, listen to the sound of that kitten. Let it enjoy the beauty and wonder around you, keep you from being too serious.
I would like to hear from you if you have a story to tell about your inner kitten that some days roars like a Lion.
